exploringaudio1999:

I recently saw Alessandro Cortini’s interview on Sonicstate’s Youtube channel and was so inspired by his set up that I had to create this video.

This video was an attempt to use as wide a variety of electronic instruments as I possible could, ranging from classics like the Juno 106 and the Roland Space Echo to some newer toys like the Moogerfooger Cluster Flux and the TC Electronics Flashback X4.

Borderland by Brian Michael Bendis (High Caliber: An Anthology of Original Visions, 1994)

Art & story by Brian Michael Bendis. That’s his apartment, and that’s him from that time. From the first anthology of stories he put together.  KABUKI was in that early book as well. Notice the Cthulu on the third page.  That’s his version of Cthulu from the H.P. Lovecraft book we worked on together at that time.  Seeing his apartment in this story, brings back some great memories, of him showing me his favorite movies on laserdisc, and him schooling me on cinematic storytelling.  So much of which, went into the KABUKI storytelling that I was working on at the time.

yes, i drew this so long ago i had hair, but mr. mack just aged us to people who had laserdiscs!!! just shut the fuck up!! :)
